Water Works Theater Holds Auditions For MACBETH 3/22

Water Works Theatre Company has announced that it will hold auditions for Shakespeare’s Macbeth, the company’s 9th annual outdoor summer production in Royal Oak ’s Starr Jaycee Park as follows:

Sunday March 22 from 2:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
St. John’s Episcopal Church

Southeast corner of Woodward Avenue and 11 Mile Road

Monday, March 23 from 4:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.
First United Methodist Church of Royal Oak
320 West 7th Street, Royal Oak MI 48067
Between Washington and Lafayette streets in downtown Royal Oak.

Callbacks for Macbeth will be held the evening of March 30th at the First United Methodist Church .

Actors who want to reserve a time slot for general auditions should request their time via email to: email hidden; JavaScript is required or call (248) 399-3727. Those auditioning will need to prepare a two minute Shakespearean monologue.

The title role of Macbeth has been cast in this production. All other roles are open to Equity and non-Equity actors. All positions will be paid. Equity members will be paid by a Special Appearance Agreement and non-Equity actors will be paid a small stipend. [Read More...]
