Shakespeare Santa Cruz is casting it’s summer season to include A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Julius Caesar, and Shipwrecked! An Entertainment by Donald Margulies. Marco Barricelli, artistic dir. Rehearsals start June 23. Performances run July 24-Aug. 30.

Equity principal auditions will be held by appt. only Mar. 21 & 22, 10 a.m.-6 p.m. (1-2 p.m. lunch), at the Main Stage Theatre, Theatre Arts Complex, UCSC, 1156 High St., Santa Cruz. Auditions will take place on the stage. Parking requires quarters for meters or $2 for permit. Prepare two contrasting monologues, any period, 90 seconds each. No monitor provided.
