What Words Do Casting Directors Want to Hear?

It doesn’t matter whether the casting director is speaking with all the actors or you’re being singled out. Either way, you want to make sure you stand out. Just like in any job interview, there are always certain words that every casting director wants to hear. So what are they?
The 5 Magic Words a Casting Director Wants to Hear

This is an excellent article from InstantCast.com, explaining how to win over casting directors using the attributes they most value.

Of course, it’s important not to lie when you say these magic words. Believe me, if you get cast based on a lie and your director finds out you’re not really punctual, they’ll feel betrayed by the casting director. They’ll call them and ask. Together, they’ll easily figure it out. You may not get fired for that, but you’ve got a lot of bad feelings going around. Guess whose scenes get cut? And more important for the long term: casting directors work on a lot of projects, so the next time your headshot in on their desk, it’ll go into the garbage.

So memorize these handy words, and more importantly, live according to them so you can never be accused of lying in an audition.
